Notes are ugly. Guesthouse will swipe a card with a smile and a fee I cannot see. Pettah machines at 8. We land-sleep in Colombo. 1am maths.

Walk a real bank machine in the morning. Pettah and Fort have them. Tuesday opening is ordinary. Cousin POS is how you donate a percentage. If two machines are empty, try a third, then a supermarket inside-bank machine, not a friend of the receptionist. I will not invent a Colombo-wide cash shutdown.

We hit a Fort machine at 8:10. Queue, but notes. Fine.
