Leaving Colombo south Sunday morning. Curious what in Pettah or Fort actually opens early for a quick hop - coffee, sim top-up, one errand - before traffic builds.

Sunday morning Fort/Pettah is quieter than weekdays. A few cafes and pharmacies open early; big wholesale alleys wake later.

Do the one errand you truly need, then go. Do not turn it into a full market crawl if you have a southbound clock.

Cash and phone charge before you leave the hotel. Sunday surprises are closed shutters, not empty roads.
