Phone battery is at about 15 percent an hour in with maps and WhatsApp only — stream already off. Borrow a vendor charge, or just go dark and navigate by drums. Not battery plus live stream at the curb, and not a battery-swap cabinet hunt.

Go dark on everything except one group WhatsApp check. Do not hand your phone to a random vendor charge in the crush. Drums and a memorised landmark get you back toward the lake better than a dead battery mid-climax.

If you must keep maps, airplane mode between checks stretches the last fifteen percent.

Start the walk-back while you still have enough battery for one Grab attempt later.
