Phone still feels warm after overnight charge. Safe to navigate on maps all day, or rest it and use the spare. Not power bank empty forgotten order, and not hotel power blip recharge everything.

If it is only mildly warm, let it cool uncovered before heavy maps use. If it is hot or warning, switch to the spare and ask the desk about a different charger. Do not pocket a hot phone in humid walking weather.

Offline maps on the cooler spare phone is a good split.
