PickMe from Galle Face at 7 for a Fort train — pin fails at night in my head, will it fail at dawn too

Anxiety packing. We stay near Galle Face. 7am train. Last time in another city the pin dropped us 400m away. 1 Sep Tuesday Colombo. Bags.

Pin a hotel door or a named porch, not the middle of the green. 7am Tuesday is ordinary traffic starting, not a curfew. If the pin fails, walk 50m to the road and stand where a car can legally stop. Meter tuk 110/90 is the backup. I will not invent a Galle Face surcharge.

We stood on the road edge, not the lawn. Car found us. Fine.
