Walk out along outer pavement to the pin if the ETA is real and the group can move together. Drivers often will not enter the locked ring — waiting on the curb rarely pulls them in. Cancel only if the pin keeps jumping away as you walk.
Agree a named shop or hotel corner as the pickup pin before anyone leaves the group.
If phones are near dead, walk to a known hotel lobby and book from power, not from the crush.
