31 Aug, leftover rain on the Polhena stones. Partner wants the stretch before breakfast. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. I do not want a sprain. Locals, please contradict the group chat. This Monday morning after leftover rain. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Wait. The Polhena stones stay slick until late morning after leftover rain. Sandals on that stretch is how you meet the clinic in town. Walk the inside lane in the shade, do the wall when it is dull and dry. Nobody is closing Polhena. It is just wet. I will not invent a fee to walk it.

We took the quieter fork at Polhena. Fine. No one clapped.

Kids lasted forty minutes. We peeled. Bedtime won.

A proper wrap, not a see-through scarf. Skip is polite.
