Pottuvil desk offered a second room that also smells — sit, or we are being precious — last-bit after dark, pin the main road

31 Aug, Pottuvil room, leftover rain on the walls. Fan works. Desk says this is ordinary August. Partner wants to move. Ordinary bags. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork. Last-bit after dark, pin the main road. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Hang the damp set. Fan on. Leftover-rain damp at Pottuvil is ordinary August, not a gazette. If the bed is actually wet, ask to move; if it is just cool walls, sit. Packing wet for a hop is how the next room smells. I will not invent a mould fee or a closure. One night: keep the pin if it is already paid.

We took the quieter fork at Pottuvil. Fine. No one clapped.

Kids: sit. Pride hurries a sunrise photo and hops home on one foot.
