Portable pack hire seems gone. Can we still buy a power bank mid-afternoon near the lake for First Randoli, or are phone shops cleaned out.

Lake and city phone shops often still have basic power banks mid-afternoon even when hire desks are empty. Buy a known brand cable too — cheap packs with mystery leads fail at midnight.

Charge at the hotel first so the new pack is backup, not your only hope.

If shops look thin, ask the hotel desk gift shelf — sometimes they sell small packs to guests.
