Horton Plains visitor-management — daily limits, online time-slots, gate parking, EV shuttle, adjusted pricing — is planning/proposed after a 29 Aug field meeting. No published cap, no required URL, no published fare hike. Walk-up remains ordinary unless a printed notice is at the booth. From World's End: jumper, packed lunch, first light for a view. World's End cloud, you may see nothing, still jumper Do not prepay a cap URL that does not exist. Call the desk before you guess a late checkout.
We walked up with jumpers and a packed lunch. Mist ate World's End anyway. No slot URL, no cap number at the booth. First light is kinder than noon.
If the elder already said no to standing, skip World's End pride. A printed notice at the booth would change this. A Facebook cap number would not. Then tea, then the room.
