Quick glance at a rain map on mobile while the live drums continue. Useful anxiety check, or just feeds false alarms on a dry night. Not inventing a rain event, not rain mid-parade duck-in, and not light rain shell wait on arrival.

One glance is enough — if the street is dry and drums continue, put the phone away. Rain maps feed false alarms on nights that stay dry. Feel for drops; do not refresh the map every troupe.
