Plaque at Lipton's Seat, leftover drizzle, kid already done with stones. I want them to see it without a lecture or a selfie. 26 Aug.

Five quiet minutes if they will stand. Skip if they will not. This is a memory, not a ride. Voices down. No posing on the plaque. Ice cream later is ordinary. A speech is not.

We stood three minutes and left. Fine.

Pride turns a plaque into a history exam and then a tantrum.

If they cannot stand, skip. Kindness is the point.

We skipped, walked the inner path. Fine.

Hats off if that is the local habit. Ask, do not guess loud.

Short and quiet. That is the whole instruction.
