Showers possible later. Better to buy a light rain jacket in town this morning, or just hire a cheap poncho from route sellers tonight.

A morning buy in town gives you something reusable and usually less flimsy. Route ponchos work in a pinch but mark up once the sky opens.

If you already own a compact shell, bring it. Sellers still appear when rain hits — bargain once, then watch the parade.

Keep hands free. A thin packable jacket beats wrestling a torn poncho in a crowd.
