Want to rent bikes Sunday morning and cycle toward Peradeniya before the heat. Is that sensible during Perahera week, or too much traffic and festival leftover chaos.

Early Sunday works if you stick to calmer edges and wear visible clothing. Turn back before midday heat and coach traffic build.

Agree the hire return time in writing. Festival weeks make late returns awkward when staff head toward the route.
