We have a paid pin near Kalutara and now this: Panama, one van a day feel, miss it and sit. Keep the pin or eat the booking?

Seated later beats a maybe now. Ordinary bus/train logistics. Do not invent a line close or a bus-fare cut. In Kalutara, the stand in Kalutara, water before you sit, agree a number if there is no meter. Panama, one van a day feel, miss it and sit Unreserved standing with two hard-shells is how you hate the hop. Do not invent a line close. Bags change the trade — dump them.
We waited one later seated out of Kalutara and did not regret it. Standing three hours with bags is a choice I will not make twice without water. Shoes you can stand in, not the pretty pair.
If you already have a driver waiting and a room that holds, keep that pin. Otherwise sit. Unreserved with hard-shells is a no. Water in the bag beats a maybe stall.
