21 Aug, two kids under eight, ear cups in the bag. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Damp rooms after rain are ordinary; fan, not a scene. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.

We took the quieter fork toward Rekawa. Fine. No one clapped.

Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Tangalle rest house shade will still be there. Shade before pride.
