Hungry at Peradeniya junction. cafe counter menu looks like Colombo prices. Two lanes toward Katugastota bridge there is a rice plate and a queue of workers. 26 Aug. Not performing cheap. Performing lunch.

Eat the rice plate if you want lunch. The cafe counter menu is a menu. Nobody is scamming you; they are pricing a room with a view. A local plate toward Katugastota bridge is ordinary. Ask how spicy, then eat. Do not occupy a terrace for email over a 900-rupee feeling.

We ate the rice plate. Fine. Stomach quiet. Mood better.

Do not invent a hygiene panic for a busy local room. Look, then sit.
