Need a sit at Dehiwala. Tourist terrace looks dry and priced like Colombo. Bakery two lanes in has a queue of locals and plastic chairs. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to be the rude table. Monday 31 Aug, leftover humidity. East catch-up versus leftover south flags. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Walk two lanes. The terrace is a pretty courtyard with tourist prices. Nobody is scamming you; they are just pricing for the terrace. A bakery bun and tea is the ordinary sit. If you want the courtyard photo, have one drink and leave. Do not camp a four-top for email. If the kid is melting now, pay the soda, ten minutes, move. Shade is the need, not the brand.
Covered, went in twenty minutes, left. Street is mixed. Inside is not. Lived aside: association put Rs. 10 on the 450g from midnight; the village shop can still be slow to sticker. No 130/140 from me.
We sat the bakery chairs, walked the terrace after. Fine. One soda was enough.
