21 Aug, two of us, daypacks, no balcony budget. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Ordinary south; sit if the stones are wet. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.

We paid one soda, cooled, left toward Bentota. Fine. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.
