Want a quiet rooftop cafe with a lake view for a mid-morning sit before the afternoon plan. Realistic ask around here. Not hotel garden ten-minute sit, and not early coffee-shop-open-after-parade thread.

Several hotels and cafes near the lake advertise upper floors or terraces — walk in and ask if the terrace is open between showers. Order something and keep voices soft; it is still a working cafe.
