Can we take pictures of monks walking on the street or is it highly offensive.

Never use a harsh camera flash directly in their faces, especially during meditation or while they are eating. It is considered highly disrespectful to treat them like a tourist attraction.

Crucially, you must never pose for a selfie standing directly next to a monk, and absolutely never turn your back to them or a Buddha statue while taking a photograph.
