24 Aug, Kaudulla track gate. We are poncho on, umbrella left in the room. Partner leans barefoot pride. I want socks. Ordinary bags. If the honest answer is skip, say skip. No invented fee, no brochure clock, no animal guarantee. Toddler in a carrier if we walk.

Write the board. At Kaudulla track gate on 24 Aug that means socks, not barefoot pride. I will not invent a fee, a festival, a whale, or a leopard. Skip is polite.

Kids: socks. Pride turns this into a speech at the kerb and then owns a tantrum.
