21 Aug, elder plus one, one stick, ordinary bags. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Quieter than Pasikudah; same sea rules. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.

Ask two locals near Kalkudah quieter sand. The first number about sand is a test, not a fee I will invent.

We took the quieter fork toward Pasikudah. Fine. No one clapped.

Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Kalkudah quieter sand will still be there. Shade before pride.

Kids: leave when they melt. Pride turns sand into a timetable.
