21 Aug, camera bag, phone only, tripod stays packed. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Weekday is quieter; leftover swell is still the sea. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.

We took the quieter fork toward Uppuveli. Fine. No one clapped.

Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Nilaveli weekday sand will still be there. Shade before pride.

Kids: leave when they melt. Pride turns sand into a timetable.

Screenshot a meeting pin at Uppuveli because inland data dies. The blob tower is not a plan.

If you sit a table near Nilaveli weekday sand, order. Occupying shade with a bottle you brought is the rude version.
