27 Aug, Sangaraja Mawatha, at opening. Train lands after listed 6:43. Bags. First timers. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

If you land after 7 the city is already lining up. Tuk to the room, dump bags, then walk. Do not drag suitcases toward Dalada. Agree the fare before you sit. Fairly heavy rain possible west, hills, Galle, Matara — still not a colour code.

We queued the next ATM. A line is not a shutdown. Sangaraja Mawatha was the pin.
