Have a licence. Tempted around Okanda. Clinic stories scare me. Bus instead?

After dark in Okanda: don't walk a quiet stretch with luggage. Pin PickMe or ask the hotel to call someone they know. Main roads are ordinary; side lanes after 9 aren't a tour. Write the fare. I won't invent a night timetable.

Arrived late near Okanda and regretted trying to 'just walk'. Hotel called a tuk, we wrote the number, done. Saved the exploring for morning.

If you're tired, stay nearer the bus stand / town centre in Okanda and skip chasing a perfect sunset. Pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first — cards are a maybe. Locals will tell you if a ticket is counter-only.
