Yes, the Res Vehera, also known as Sasseruwa, is an incredible secret temple located relatively close to Yapahuwa. It features a massive, ancient Buddha statue carved directly into a sheer rock cliff face, very similar to the famous Aukana Buddha.

It is deeply hidden in the forest and surrounded by ancient meditation caves. Tourists almost never visit it, making it a profoundly peaceful and deeply spiritual archaeological adventure.
