Phone is already fading and we need a morning alarm for train or CMB. Set it now on the curb, or wait until we peel to the hotel charger. Not early checkout versus stay alone, and not bags packed CMB alone.

Set the alarm now while the phone still accepts input, then battery-saver. Waiting until a hotel charger assumes you will not brick on the walk. Add a second human backup wake in the group chat.
