Elder cannot swim. Postcard shallow. Still a wade, or sit the shade line?

Still a wade where they can stand, with you as the watch, if the sea is behaving. Sit the shade line if leftover wind is named or they do not want water. No walking out because it looks like a pool. Hat, water, first light. Pride is not a swimming lesson.
