Daypack is already a circus. Maligawa noon, second Kumbal listed 6:41. Same socks, slip-ons, refuse a second pair. Lived blister plan, or are we being cheap and stupid.

Worn-in slip-ons plus spare socks in the pocket. Same pair is fine if they are not new. Spare socks after the courtyard stone saves the kerb. New boots are stupid, not cheap.

Puddle kerb will soak sandals. If you refuse a second pair, pick the closed worn pair and carry a plastic bag for the damp.
