Shoes are soaked through from long damp standing about three hours in even without hard rain. Hotel change now, or push on in wet socks. Not damp paving dew slip worry alone, not shirt soaked humidity, and not shoe rubbing raw pharmacy hunt.

Soaked shoes plus tired legs are a peel cue. Change socks at the hotel and watch live if you want. Pushing on wet invites blisters you do not need tonight.
