Want a 60 to 90 minute ridge path above Kandy that is not the full tea-trail day. Need to be back in the city by noon for First Randoli prep tonight.

Pick a short foothills spur and turn around on time — do not chase the full tea-estate day loop. Start early, carry water, and leave margin for a tuk back.

If clouds look heavy, cut the ridge and picnic closer to town instead. Noon return matters more than summit bragging today.

Finish with a quick cafe stop on the Peradeniya side if you overshoot — still beats arriving exhausted for tonight.
