Is it better to use a Grayl bottle or just buy plastic bottled water everywhere.

Bringing a high quality water filter bottle like a Grayl GeoPress or a LifeStraw is highly recommended. While cheap plastic bottled water is available everywhere in Sri Lanka, the country suffers from a massive single use plastic pollution problem. Using a purifier bottle allows you to safely drink the tap water in your hotel room, saving you money and drastically reducing your environmental footprint during your travels.
