Shoulders and knees. We have a thin wrap. Quiet 26 Aug, not trying to dress for a ceremony we cannot see. Enough for Kandalama, or will someone turn us around?

Borrowed wrap that actually covers shoulders and knees is enough for an ordinary courtyard walk at Kandalama. Inner rooms are a different ask; stay out if you are unsure. Shoes in a bag, not dangling. A fashion crop under a see-through scarf is not cover. Keep voices down.

We used a supermarket sarong. They let us into the courtyard. Fine.

If the wrap keeps sliding, pin it. Arguments at the shoe rack are the rude version.

Elder changes the trade. Pay the boring extra cover. Quiet Kandalama still the pin we actually have.

Skip is polite. Pride makes a speech about heat.

We skipped the inner room, walked the courtyard. Fine.
