Shoulders are numb from kid-carry this late. Switch carriers between troupes, or is the crush too tight to hand off safely. Not backpack straps digging in, and not opening-ten-minutes shoulder carry.

Wait for a clear gap between troupes, plant bags, and hand off with both adults facing each other — never toss a child sideways in a surge. If the wall is solid, keep the same carrier and peel one row back instead.

If the child is asleep, a doorway lean rest beats a risky mid-crush switch.

Numb shoulders plus humidity is a leave-soon signal — do not wait until someone drops.
