Ordinary etiquette: shoes, cover, short. Kandy festival ended Friday after Day 2:18 and Relics 4:01. No weekend Kandy procession. In Sigiriya this is an ordinary leftover decision. That is the lived version, not a gazette. We would not treat 4:01 as a ceremony. Then the hop you actually named.
