Saturday 22 Aug, Sigiriya. Dambulla cave, shoulders out, stall scarf see-through in the sun. If Pidurangala is kinder, say so. Write the board, not a blog.

Cover legs and shoulders, shoes off inside. Street is mixed. Skip if you have nothing to cover with. No drone, no flash at a conserved platform. A wrap from the stall is fine; a see-through beach sarong is not. Do not make the doorway a fitting room.

Poncho. Umbrella on that pinch is a fight. They run wet if it is the procession.

Kids: sit. Pride turns Sigiriya into a speech at the kerb. Then tea.

Seated later. Unreserved standing with shells is how you hate Saturday.

Passport at the counter. A cousin SIM is how you buy a headache. Ordinary.

We waited until it was dull and dry. Flip-flops were a mistake at eight.

Inner path, closed shoes. Spray edge is how you meet the clinic. Named the fare.
