Shoes muddy from the lake path. Sita Amman is on the way back toward town. Cover and go, or skip because we will track mud into a shrine.

Rinse the worst at a tap if you can, cover shoulders and knees, go. It is a working shrine, not a museum you need clean trail shoes for. If the compound is a puddle, walk the edges. Do not skip a five-minute visit because the lake already used the hour.

We went muddy. A man pointed at a tap. Fine.

Cameras off the inner shrine steps. Courtyard is ordinary.

If someone in the group hates wet floors, wait in the tuk. Not a fight.

Shared van is ordinary. Private is a product, not a law. Same week, ordinary bags.
