Want hill seats later in the trip, not tonight. Just: can a 3am Fort dump still become a morning bus.

Yes. Dump Fort, sleep, Bastian Mawatha / goods-shed in the morning for the intercity. Fort clock reserved hill seats are a later errand, not a 3am project. Don't mix the night landing with the hill ticket.
