Three festival nights in a row. Partner wants one more evening out; I want sleep and a gentle Peradeniya gardens day-trip Sunday. Sensible recovery or will we regret skipping another night.

If you are temple-tired, Peradeniya is the kinder Sunday. Gardens beat forcing another late night on already-sore feet.

You can still keep tomorrow evening free for the next procession if that is the one you care about. Daytime recovery is not quitting.

Sleep wins. Kandy will still be here - blisters and short tempers ruin more trips than missing one kerb.
