Small venues or events for live traditional or fusion music?
I enjoy live music in intimate settings. Any good spots for traditional or fusion performances?

Some hotels, cultural centers, and cafes in tourist areas occasionally host small traditional music or fusion performances. These are often intimate and atmospheric. The scene is small and somewhat spontaneous — performances are announced through local networks or social media rather than big listings. Galle Fort and Colombo have the most consistent options. Some guesthouses also organize occasional evenings with local musicians. It's worth asking hosts and other travelers what's happening during your stay.
The best experiences are often the ones that aren't heavily advertised. Ask around when you arrive.
