Split at the Queen's Hotel corner and WhatsApp is lagging - where do we actually meet
Four of us, now two and two. Last pin was the Queen's corner when the tusker went by. Data died in the squeeze, WhatsApp is one grey tick, and both pairs think the other pair "went to the hotel." Is there an actual reunion point or do we just pick Queen's steps and not move.

Queen's Hotel steps / the lake wall immediately in front, and do not move. The police info system lists locations where separated people can be reunited - load kandyesalaperahera.police.lk if you can get a bar. Hotline 081 22 33 333. Do not both pairs walk to the hotel on different alleys.
We used "Queen's, lake side, the flagpole" as a standing order before we even arrived. It works because it is the one building everyone can still see.
Tourist assistance is part of the season deployment. A uniform at Queen's will have seen this ten times an hour.
