Sri Lanka best acupuncture Colombo TCM practitioner - traditional Chinese medicine?
3 Answers from travellers
Colombo TCM options: (1) Colombo Chinese Medicine Centre (Kollupitiya - established, Chinese-trained doctors, sessions LKR 5000-12000). (2) Sino-Lanka TCM Clinic (Colombo 05 - herbs + acupuncture, LKR 4000-10000). (3) The Wellness Clinic at Nawaloka Hospital (integrative - both Western + TCM). (4) Some Ayurvedic centers now offer acupuncture cross-referenced with Chinese practitioners. Book through hotel concierge or check reviews on Google Maps. Bring translator if needed - some practitioners speak Sinhala + Mandarin more than English. Verify practitioner has proper Chinese medicine credentials.
Also: 'Sujok therapy' (Korean hand acupuncture) available at some Colombo wellness clinics - alternative if traditional acupuncture unavailable. And medical tourism-focused facilities (Lanka Hospitals wellness division) offer TCM as part of integrative packages. Not widespread but exists.
