Sri Lanka best beach cover ups tropical shopping - Barefoot Odel?

Beach cover-up + resort wear boutiques: (1) Barefoot Colombo (Galle Road - handloom kaftans, sarongs, resort wear, USD 30-100 per piece, iconic quality). (2) Odel Colombo (multi-story department - mainstream + boutique brands). (3) Willow (Colombo boutique - contemporary resort wear). (4) The Design Collective (curated local designers). (5) Boutique villa shops (Cape Weligama, Amanwella have small selections). (6) Sri Lanka handloom sarong wraps + kaftans at MAS outlet + boutiques. Prices boutique: USD 40-150 per piece. Buy at start of trip - wear throughout trip. Sri Lankan handloom feels amazing in tropical heat.
Practical: handloom cotton kaftans wrinkle less than you'd think, dry quickly poolside, layer over swimwear at beach clubs/restaurants where cover required. Silk versions elegant for evening but delicate. Cotton for daytime + silk for sunset dinner = perfect capsule.
Also: Buddhi Batiks + Prasanna Batik make batik kaftans + wraps that are genuinely unique to Sri Lanka. Hand-drawn batik patterns. Different from mass-produced. USD 40-120 depending on complexity. Great gift item + wearable art.
