3 Answers from travellers
Colombo boxing gyms:
Ceylon Boxing Academy (Kollupitiya - amateur + pro training, USD 30-70/month membership + coach fees).
Boxing Colombo (Bambalapitiya - fitness + technique focus).
Some hotel gyms (Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury) have hitting bags + trainers on request.
Traditional boxing meets at Chundikuli boxing camp.
For technique + sparring: Ceylon Boxing Academy is Sri Lanka's most competitive facility.
USD 15-40 per session with coach. Bring your own gloves + wraps or rent. 3+ month training visa considerations if long-term.

Signing up at Ceylon Boxing Academy monthly package + evening coach sessions. Bringing my own gloves + hand wraps. Aiming for 4-5 sessions per week during my 6 weeks here. Great to know competitive scene exists.
Also: some Muay Thai + kickboxing gyms exist (Ceylon Kickboxing Academy) - crossover training available. For amateur competition: Sri Lankan boxing federation runs amateur circuits - foreign competitors welcomed. Coaching quality strong at competitive levels.
