USD 200-400/night depending on room type and season. Reality: rooms are dated (2000s design showing), service excellent, breakfast buffet legendary, infinity pool on the roof unforgettable. Not modern-luxe like Anantara or Cape Weligama - it's architectural experience luxury. For Bawa enthusiasts + architecture nerds: essential. For pure luxury seekers: might feel dated.
Best room type: 'Loft Suite' for the top-tier experience. Standard rooms are fine but limited views. Request 'reservoir view' at minimum. Combined with Sigiriya climb (30-min drive), makes an unforgettable 2-night stay.
