Handloom heritage sources: (1) Barefoot Colombo (Galle Road) - flagship for Sri Lankan handloom, natural dyes, Ena de Silva legacy designs, USD 30-100 per meter. (2) Selyn (Colombo showroom + Kurunegala factory) - fair trade, hand-woven, women-run cooperative. (3) Buddhi Batiks (Colombo + Bandarawela) - contemporary batik + handloom. (4) Talpe Handloom Centre (near Galle) - traditional weavers. (5) Kandy weavers workshops (Meepitiya area - visit weavers home directly). (6) Prasanna Batik Studios (multiple locations). For guaranteed quality + design: Barefoot + Selyn. For direct-from-weaver savings: village workshops.

Also: Sarasa Batik Boutique (Colombo, Galle Fort), Rithihi (contemporary), Radh Handloom (Kandy). Handloom takes time to appreciate - unpolished edges, slight color variations = signs of hand work, not defects. Cotton feels denser than synthetic. Wash cold, hang dry, use gentle detergent for longevity.
