Traditional Sri Lankan incense makers: (1) Sri Lanka Handicrafts Board Kandy sells traditional incense. (2) Some Buddhist temple gift shops sell temple-quality incense (Temple of Tooth Kandy has excellent supply). (3) Chandana's Incense (Kandy - traditional workshop, visit possible). (4) Village incense makers near Kandy + Matale. (5) Ayurvedic pharmacies stock therapeutic incense. Traditional ingredients: sandalwood (real Sri Lankan variety - endangered, limited), agarwood/oud, benzoin, natural resins, herbs. Prices: temple-quality USD 5-25 per stick pack. Real sandalwood incense USD 20-80+ per pack (premium).

Temple of Tooth Kandy gift shop sells genuinely quality incense used in temple daily. Cheaper than 'premium' Colombo shops with same quality. Buy directly.

Getting Temple of Tooth incense + Chandana's workshop visit + Spa Ceylon gift boxes for home. Also bringing back small amount of real sandalwood incense for personal meditation practice - splurging on that specifically.

For gifts: Spa Ceylon incense line is polished packaging + reliable quality. Standard fragrances but consistent. USD 8-25 gift boxes. Available at Colombo airport.

Also: some Ayurvedic hospitals make their own therapeutic incense for specific dosha imbalances. Prescribed at consultation. Interesting Ayurvedic + spiritual crossover.

For meditation/spiritual practice: temple gift shops offer 'meditation blend' incense specifically for deep practice. Different from decorative-scent incense. Buddhist monks use specific herb blends.

Sandalwood note: Sri Lankan Chandana wood (Santalum album) is endangered - real sandalwood incense is rare + expensive. Most 'sandalwood' incense uses synthetic scent or blends. Real sandalwood incense: extreme quality difference in aroma. Ask + verify.
