Colombo water park options: (1) Water World Colombo (Piliyandala - largest, wave pool, slides, lazy river, USD 5-15 per child entry). (2) Splashtacular (Wellawatte - smaller boutique water park + kids play). (3) Waves Park Malabe. (4) Some hotel water park facilities open to non-guests (Hilton Colombo Residences, some Bentota resorts). (5) Independent inflatable water parks at some beach hotels. Season: year-round in Colombo. Best crowds: weekdays (weekends packed). Bring: swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, water bottles. Full-day family USD 25-80 total.

Also: Sinclair Water Park (Nuwara Eliya - cool climate water park, unusual for tropics). Fun day out from Kandy. Different vibe from tropical coastal water parks. Kids find novelty.

Water World Colombo booked for Saturday. Getting there early (10am) to avoid weekend crowds. Kids beyond excited - saw the photos and can't wait. Splashtacular reserved for backup rainy day if Saturday doesn't work.

Safety: check lifeguard availability + certifications. Water Park Colombo has multiple certified lifeguards. Smaller parks may have less coverage. Never leave kids unsupervised. Verify pool depths + shallow areas.

For hotel water parks: Cinnamon Grand kids club has water play, Anantara Kalutara + Peace Haven Tangalle have kids' pool complexes. If staying at those hotels, use their facilities. Better than public parks for cleanliness.
