(2) Rex Photographers (Kollupitiya - photo studio, various document photo services). (3) Studio 89 (Bambalapitiya - fast turnaround). (4) Most photo shops in Pettah area. Bring: ID + clean clothes (formal top preferred). Some shops accept digital photos + print. Turnaround: same day for standard, express service available. Confirm size specifications for your target country (US requires 2x2 inches, UK requires 45mm x 35mm, etc.).
Getting passport photos at Kandana this afternoon for my long-term visa application. Also getting extra copies for Canada visa application backup. Colombo photo studios seem to have this dialed in for foreigners.
For visa applications: shops know specifications for major countries (US, UK, Schengen, Australia, Canada). Tell them target country. Digital + printed included in package usually. Multiple copies useful for backup.
